What up

Its me again (review below)... just wanted to know what the sample is? I was trying to figure out the tune and I got it confused with a different song so its been frustrating me haha.

DJDureagon responds:

On and On by Gladys Knight & the Pips is the sample. Monster Track. Curtis Mayfield is the master.

Delinquent

I wrote the review two reviews down. The whole review was directed at Wyze. I think you got the completely wrong message. The whole review was directed at Wyze's previous review. I don't know how you couldn't pick that up while reading that whole thing. None of that was addressing you except for the last part "To Delinquent, as I said in my previous review, I think the beat is mad." But just to clear that up, that whole review was directed 100% on Wyze's comment, below mine.

when he stated "who uses 6/6"

he was rediculing "Ed Harrison"

not me :P

This last round...

...Should be judged on the number of votes given by people who have reviewed this rather than only the judges. And maybe if its only down to the judges, a whole set of voting criteria should be set out and judged upon, because it seems to me that people (including judges) are voting based on all different types of categories. It should be narrowed down and clear to what this competition is being based upon because there seems to be this big debate between Exceptid's mic presence and vocal quality vs. Cthulu's overall lyrical ability.

BigRed responds:

I agree about the criteria and will have a specific one for next year for all judging.

This is pretty good man

I love the feel of the instrumental. The kick is a little muddy, that's pretty much the only piece of criticism I have.

Keep doin' your thing man!

- P.

I like this one man!

Nice drum pattern you got there. I like the bassline too.

Keep up the great work brother!

- P.

flashmac responds:

Thanks man

This is smooth man!

I love the instrumentation. Not a big fan of that kick to be honest, it could be EQ'ed to give it some thump. Also, the sub bass doesn't sound 100%, especially in the higher ranges. Apart from that, I love the track man!

- P.

flashmac responds:

I agree with what you said. Glad you liked it tho

Damn, still on garageband?

If you got a decent sequencer with some decent plug-ins, you could be fire! This is nice for garageband man.

- P.

Nice, man!

Fresh sample man. You still never disappoint me on the beats.

- P.

flashmac responds:

Thanks! (btw it wasn't a sample)

Damn man

When did you get so good? Haha, nice sample bro. Keep workin' at it man, I can see a massive improvement from when you first started.

- P.

Not bad

Its not bad at all, You beat MistaAyzee on this one. We just have a problem with your quality. Also, in future please credit the producer of the original beat. In this case Jazze Pha should have received credit for the original production titled 5000 Ones.
